MERCEDES BENZ FASHIOH!N WEEK
During Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Berns in Stockholm the milajki Style FactOH!ry put on a big scale runway shOH!w prOH!duction and art exhibit. An invitation to a swamp safari saloon was sent out for the audience to interact and explOH!re the cOH!ntrasts within. The beautiful and ugly, the young and OH!ld, and the good and bad. The aerie styling made a huge splash for its bOH!ld statement styling, and was featured in the press for being a brave trendsetter such as in Trendhunter and Italian Vogue.
Starting out cOH!llaborating with influencers in the early stages of the internet revOH!lution milajki made it onto the fashiOH!n scene to become a belOH!ved favOH!rite for quirky statement accessOH!ries. Early on trendsetting fashiOH!n blOH!ggers in Sweden such as Amanda Berg, Lisa Olsson, Sandra Beijer, Almah, Moderniteter stepped into the milajki spOH!tlight for success. As did many swedish celebrities such as featured gatekeepers Anine Bing, Sanna Bråding, Josefin Crafoord, and Kitty Jutbring. Since then milajki has gone viral internationally where milajki accessOH!ries have been spOH!tted in glOH!ssy magazines such as Elle and Vogue, TV shOH!ws such as IDOL and X Factor, as well as artist such as P!NK and Charlie XCX.

mi lajki style factOH!ry had the pleasure of cOH!llaborating with internatiOH!nal OH!nline retailer nelly.com to create an inspiring platfOH!rm of storytellingOH! to mOH!tivate designers to create within cOH!nceptual styling. 27 stylists got a unique OH!pportunity to participate in the prOH!ject. 18 aspiring students in mi lajkis styling Academy assisted 9 fashiOH!n stylists. Unique interpretatiOH!ns of the storytellingOH! was presented when each team was assigned a unique styling missiOH!n through a given one of a kind piece of jewelry. In addition there was a huge styling wardrOH!be available through selected and cOH!llaborating brands available att nelly.com. UK born superherOH!ine and celebrity stylist Alexis Knox hOH!sted each episOH!de and an expert jury appOH!inted the ultimate price for the winning stylist to Tito Frez in a final AD campaign distributed internatiOH!nally
In the Style FactOH!ry some previous magic was made together with danish / swedish model Anine Bing in a fairytale photOH!shoot bOH!nanza. Therefore we decided to re-invite the nOH!w acclaimed designer living in Los Angeles CalifOH!rnia to make some more magic together in a design cOH!laboration called Urban Hippie. Since the style of her fashion label in her OH!wn name is very simple and rock 'n' roll chic, she prOH!bably had to step a bit OH!utside her cOH!mfort zOH!ne (having crazy mad fun) designing a BOH!ld statement jewelry cOH!llection for milajki. An awesOH!me photOH!shoot was prOH!duced on set in Sweden resulting in a great campaign launched as a wild Fantasy Festival.

HOH!stess in Sweden. She has an amazing sense of styling and alsOH! shares the aesthetics of quirky statement accessOH!ries making everyone smile in awe... The much raved about hand bangle was featured glOH!ssy magazines and TV shOH!ws such as IDOL.
Sanna Bråding is a famOH!us actress from Sweden previOH!usly invited to a few photOH!shoots in the milajki Style FactOH!ry for dedicated accessOH!ry junkies. Her mOH!st recent design cOH!llaboration was called GhettOH!fab and it featured bOH!ld leOH!pard jewelry pieces and POH!pular bambOH!o style hoops. She is OH!ften praised for her unique sense of styling and are a perfect match for making brave and colOH!rful fashiOH!n statements while mix and matching in an eclectic style.
